Oklahoma City and Tulsa Support Groups

Support Groups

Support groups bring together people who are going through or have gone through similar experiences of hardship, loss, addiction, and health issues, providing a safe place to share experiences, emotions and coping strategies as a collective group. Being among peers creates a sense of belonging and gives opportunities to talk openly and honestly about feelings without judgement.  According to Mayo Clinic, people who attend support group meetings are more likely to understand one another, be hopeful, stay motivated and strengthen their coping skills.

Thrive has researched and created a list of support groups in Oklahoma City and Tulsa as well as online support groups.
